Casaverde participates in the III Charity Race UMH

On 12 March, some of our users of the Reintegrated Unit took part in the III Charity Race organized by Miguel Hernández University (UMH). Given the good experience lived the past year, this year we could not miss.

The Charity Run of the Medicine School of UMH was organized by students and professors of the different programs related to Medicine: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Medicine, and  Podiatry; as well as the Disabled Students Support Service (ATED).

This project seeks to foster the inclusion and normalization of disabled people to the sports field and to contribute to the work of associations, NGOs and foundations within our circles.

The event has charitable purposes and, for that reason, 100 per cent of the money raised by the registrations will be donated to NGOs, associations or foundations.

While the users of Casaverde got up early, and our health professionals decided to accompanying them to this activity, there is no doubt that the race was worthwhile.

Later, we share a brunch and we moved at the pace of batucada. We wanted to contribute in order to do brain damage more evident looking our orange t-shirts. It was an awesome morning and we concluded that ¡WE ARE GOING TO REPEAT THIS EXPERIENCE THE NEXT YEAR!
