Acquired Brain Injury meeting.

Five of every thousand from “Comunitat  Valenciana” have been diagnosted with Acquired Brain Injury, according to the Survey of Disability, personal autonomy and dependence situation. (EDAD)

In this regard, professionals from the Neurological Rehabilitation Center of Mutxamel presented yesterday at the health center of Benidorm (Folletes) a new resource for people with acquired brain injury. More than 25 people, most primary care physicians, social workers, decision-makers of UHD and nurses have attended the presentation of the Program for Promotion of Personal Autonomy and Social Integration for Persons with Disability Derived Acquired Brain Injury developed by the Foundation Casaverde at Neurological Rehabilitation Center of Mutxamel.

This unit allows completing the rehabilitation process for people with acquired brain injury and their families, facilitating an adapted return to home and their environment.
